Mah Jong 101 & Open Play @ Mockingbird Books

Join us for at Mockingbird Books for Mah Jong 101 OR Open Play! Mah Jong 101 is perfect for those who are new to the game and want to see what all the fuss is about! The lesson will start promptly 6:00 pm. Lessons normally take 2.5 - 3 hours and we will provide everything needed to play the game! We will learn the tiles, the card and basic rules of play and we will then play 2 hands.

Open play tables will be set up for people to play together with friends and meet new ones. Open play is perfect if you've taken a lesson and want to get more experience playing the game. Open Play will follow NMJL rules. It is meant to be friendly and encouraging, not overly strict or serious! It's Mah Jong, let's have some fun!
